ISHELF-CARD-MIB

AI MIB Summary

The ISHELF-CARD-MIB facilitates the configuration and monitoring of card provisioning parameters, including slot assignment, operational status, and hardware state, within ISHELF chassis-based network equipment. This module enables administrators to track card insertion events, validate hardware compatibility, and manage the lifecycle of line cards or service modules in a modular switching or routing environment.

The MIB module for managing Card provisioning.

iShelfOntProvisioningTableThe ONT provisioning table is used for global ONT provisioning. Entries in this table are created at the request of the management application. The table is indexed by ONT logical ID. This table supports pre-provisioning of an ONT. The management application may create an entry in this table before the ONT is present in the system. The global administrative state of the ONT is also controlled by this table. By setting the administrative state it is possible to enable/disable all services provided by the ONT.

iShelfOntSubscriberLineCardTableThis table represents the slots of the ONT that are capable of holding subscriber line cards. A row in this table exists for each slot. Rows in this table are automatically created when an ONT is provisioned. The number of slots for an ONT is determiend by the ONT type. Rows in this table are alos created for ONTs with integrated interfaces. Therefore, both integrate and expansion slots are supported by this table. Global provisioning of the subscriber line card ports is also supported by this table. For expansion slots, the management application is able to provision the expected type. Pre-provisioning of expansion slots is supported. When the actual expansion card is plugged in, a check will be made to verify the correct type. If the type is correct, the provisioning will automatically be applied to the ONT subscriber line card.
