VMWARE-OBSOLETE-MIB
The VMWARE-OBSOLETE-MIB maintains backward compatibility for legacy VMware managed objects by preserving historical OID mappings for deprecated metrics such as virtual machine states, resource utilization counters, and host performance data. This module ensures that existing monitoring systems continue to retrieve valid data from older VMware infrastructure without requiring immediate OID reconfiguration.

The VMWARE-NSX-MANAGER-MIB module defines the structure for SNMP traps generated by the VMware NSX Manager virtual appliance to report critical state changes and events for software-defined networking components, including logical switches, edge services gateways, and controllers. This module enables network management systems to parse and correlate specific operational alerts and fault notifications from the NSX Manager within a vSphere environment.
The VMWARE-VRNI-MIB module enables SNMP-based monitoring of VMware vRealize Network Insight telemetry, specifically exposing virtual network topology, flow statistics, and security policy enforcement states for NSX and vSphere environments. This MIB facilitates the collection of granular metrics regarding virtual switch performance, distributed firewall rule utilization, and logical network path analysis to support capacity planning and anomaly detection.
SNMP MIB module
The VMWARE-VCOPS-EVENT-MIB defines the structure for SNMP traps generated by VMware vCenter Operations Manager to report infrastructure health events, including performance thresholds, capacity warnings, and system anomalies. This module enables external monitoring systems to parse and correlate specific operational alerts from the vCenter Operations Manager environment.
The VMWARE-VMINFO-MIB enables SNMP-based polling and event notification for VMware ESXi host inventory and virtual machine state transitions, mapping specific managed objects to VMware VIM API properties. This module facilitates the collection of critical VM metrics including power status, resource allocation, and host association data for centralized infrastructure monitoring.
