SNMP MIB module
The TPT-TPA-HARDWARE-MIB provides SNMP access to monitor the physical state and component health of Trend Micro TippingPoint Network Security Appliances (TPA), including hardware status, temperature sensors, and power supply metrics. This module enables systems administrators to track hardware-specific performance indicators and fault conditions for Trend Micro's intrusion prevention and network security infrastructure.
The TPT-TRAFFIC-MIB module enables monitoring and configuration of traffic management functions, specifically rate limiters and traffic thresholds, on Trend Micro TippingPoint network intrusion prevention systems. It provides SNMP-accessible counters and gauges for tracking enforced bandwidth limits, threshold violations, and associated traffic drop events to facilitate real-time network capacity and security policy enforcement.
The TPT-NPSTATS-MIB module provides SNMP access to hardware-level performance counters and operational statistics for the Network Processor (NP) within Trend Micro TippingPoint intrusion prevention systems. It enables the monitoring of low-level NP metrics such as packet processing rates, buffer utilization, and hardware resource states to facilitate deep-dive troubleshooting of traffic flow and system health.
