The MCAFEE-SMI module defines the Structure of Management Information schema for McAfee enterprise security products, enabling SNMP-based monitoring of antivirus engine status, threat detection logs, and policy enforcement states. It provides the standardized object identifiers required to query real-time security metrics, including virus signature database versions, scan queue depths, and quarantine item counts across McAfee ePO and endpoint protection agents.
